This exceptional three-legged stool originates from the Oromo people of the Ethiopian highlands. Traditionally carved from a single piece of hardwood, it served as a personal seat for elders or respected members of the community.

What makes this piece truly special is its rare leather-covered seat, an uncommon feature that elevates its tactile and visual appeal. The leather adds warmth and softness, transforming the simple stool into an object of quiet refinement.

Over time, the surface has developed a beautiful natural patina, revealing both age and authenticity. With its organic form and timeless aesthetic, it is a true one-of-a-kind piece — one we find very hard to let go of.
