Traditionally, these shields were used as defensive weapons and also as decorative or ritual objects. Carved by hand from one piece of wood, the shields symbolize status and wealth in Cameroon. The shields are elaborately decorated with cowrie shells.

Large, heavy and/or fragile pieces are dispatched on pallet/by shipping company, so they are delivered to you in intact condition (announced delivery, free curbside). By default within Germany as well as to Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Other countries upon request.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. We only ship with full insurance cover.
