Bronze bangles made of wax casting. Formerly used as a means of payment and status for the carrier. There are many forms of cast wax bracelets throughout West Africa.
They were used as a means of payment and as a status for the bearer. Their value lay in the metal itself and in the amount or ornamentation. They were forged on a bride's arm as part of her wedding dowry.
Comes with an iron stand.
