The story behind:
Traditionally produced indigo throw, treated with natural dyes.
The traditional technique for making these beautiful indigo bogolans is the same as the normal ones. But the indigo are not colored with mud, but with the pigment of the indigo bush. Cotton is collected by hands, spun, and woven into thin pieces. The thin parts are attached to each other and painted with the batik technique.
The blue indigo color stands for power, divinity and magical healing powers.
