This carpet comes from a village near Nabeul, the city of potters and carpet makers, in Tunisia. The local artisans have been weaving wild palm fibers to make baskets and rugs since early childhood. It was in this creative environment that the idea for this rug was born.
The two women Djamila and Ichraf weave and assemble each handcrafted circle from wild palm fibers. The result is an extraordinary carpet!
