Beautiful carved wooden stool from the HeHe tribe in Tanzania. The HeHe stool is characterized by its three legs and the simple round top.
The HeHe tribe lived in isolation on a highland in southwest Tanzania, northeast of Lake Nyasa. These unique three-legged chairs were used to sit down while milking the cattle.
