Old loam basket double
Beautiful basket made from old wicker. As it comes with a double opening on top it is a very special and rare piece.
The baskets were once used in China to store vinegar or oil, probably for lamps. An applied loam or leather paste protected the baskets from water. Over time, the paste has cracked and a unique patina has developed on the surface.

Large, heavy and/or fragile pieces are dispatched on pallet/by shipping company, so they are delivered to you in intact condition (announced delivery, free curbside). By default within Germany as well as to Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal. Other countries upon request.
