old berber pot medium #3
Details
What a unique piece:
These pots were handmade by the wonderful women in the Rif Mountains in northern Morocco. The pottery was made from local clay and fired on an open fire. The geometric patterns were carefully hand painted and always uniquely inspired by ancient rock paintings.
Since there was no way to store food in a cool place back then, the pots were traditionally used to preserve food such as olives, dates, sugar and spices.
Due to their weight and fragility, we only ship these pots on small pallets.
This is an old product, so signs of age and usage are not an expression of errors or defects, but underline the original character of the product.
