"Tua Tia" (baobab tree basket): The name of this extraordinary basket goes back to its appearance: the fringes hang like leaves on a baobab tree. This tree, also called "mother tree", provides an impressive amount of shade and very sweet fruit.
The Tua Tia baskets are made in the Gurunsi community in Bolgatanga. Each curve is the handprint or signature of the weaver who expertly handcrafted your basket. We love the unique differences in each and every piece.

Standard items are shipped by DHL/Hermes within the EU and worldwide upon request.
Large, heavy and/or fragile pieces are dispatched on pallet/by shipping company, so they are delivered to you in intact condition (announced delivery, free curbside). By default within Germany as well as to Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal. Other countries upon request.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. We only ship with full insurance cover.
