A sideboard from China, made from solid walnut wood. Walnut was rarely used in traditional Chinese furniture, which makes this piece unusual in both material and appearance.

The front is asymmetrically structured, with three drawers and one door. The composition is carefully balanced and clearly proportioned, creating a restrained yet dynamic presence.

The surface shows subtle tonal variation, shifting between warm brown and cooler gray nuances. These transitions are the result of age and use, forming a patina that has developed gradually over time.

A functional piece with a strong material presence and a calm, timeless character.
