A set of nine old wooden pylons attributed to the Peulh of Niger, originally used as pestles for pounding grain.
Each piece was carved by hand and differs in shape, surface and incised decoration. The wood shows clear signs of age and use, with worn surfaces and individual markings throughout. Mounted together, the nine pylons form a large-scale wall installation.
Each piece is fitted with a metal bracket on the reverse for easy and secure wall mounting.
The price is for the complete set of nine.
