Handcrafted from Bejuco de Yare (liana tendril) in the Colombian amazon: In the past, the Maku baskets were often used to transport food.

Today, selling the baskets is sometimes the local artisans' only income. Every basket bought supports the families. In addition, the traditional indigenous handicraft is not only preserved, but also sustainably promoted.
