Vintage hand-woven rain cape Japan
This is an old hand-woven and hand-knitted rain cape. Its original use was to be carried on the back to shelter from the rain during farming.
This masterpiece was made by a farmer in Niigata Prefecture and is woven with rice straws and the bark of grape tree.
