While most Shanxi vessels appear considerably darker, this piece features an unusual warmth that draws attention without demanding it.
Paired with a handcrafted linen lampshade in a light, natural tone, a calm tone-on-tone relationship emerges. The shade echoes the earthy nuances of the vessel, allowing form, material and colour to come together as a cohesive whole. The light is soft and evenly diffused, resulting in a clear, composed atmosphere.
