This original vessel from China’s Shanxi province, crafted around 1900, features an exceptionally rare glaze. Its coloring – a deep olive brown with natural variations – is seldom found in this region. While most Shanxi vessels appear considerably darker, this piece features an unusual warmth that draws attention without demanding it.
