These table lamps were created from old terracotta vessels from China’s Shandong province. Originally, they were used to store water or oil.
Over many decades, the vessels developed a layered surface with subtle transitions of grey, sand and warm earthy tones.
The vessels were completed with handcrafted lampshades made from high-quality Belgian linen. In this combination, the conical shape is unusual and shapes the character of the lamps.
