Large earthenware pot from Indonesia, dating back to the early/mid 20th century. Originally made to store water, it was strengthened over time with hand-applied layers of cement. Over decades, parts of these layers naturally wore away, revealing subtle color transitions and mineral tones.
The pot was carefully converted into a lamp, giving its original character a new stage.
