Antique Naga wooden chair, hand-carved from a single piece of solid wood in Nagaland, in the far northeast of India.
The chair has a high backrest, a carved seat and a solid, compact form. Its worn surface and natural irregularities show the age and handmade character of the piece. With its upright shape and raw wooden surface, it works as a distinctive standalone object in a hallway, living room or quiet corner.
Unique piece.
