Description

These exceptional baskets are handwoven in Guapi, Cauca, Colombia. This special craft has been passed on for generations. The work is clearly divided: the women weave the baskets, the men roam the forest to harvest the necessary materials.

Each basket is the result of eight to ten days of work! The patterns are inspired by the world of the Guapi: constellations, insects, snakes...
