Large antique ceramic urns from Shanxi province, northern China. Originally used as storage vessels.

The surface shows a deep, dark glaze with visible wear, traces of use, and natural irregularities developed over time. Converted into lamps, the vessels retain their original proportions and weight.

The form is restrained and architectural, defined by size rather than detail. Best placed as a pair. Each piece is unique.
