A pair of antique horseshoe chairs from China, made from dark wood with a naturally worn surface and visible traces of age.
The rounded armrest gives this type of chair its name. The backrests are decorated with carved panels, while the frames show old repairs, patina, and irregularities that are part of their character.
The two chairs are almost identical in shape and construction, with small differences in surface, wear, and patina.
