Large Chinese earthenware vessel with a rounded form and narrow opening. Traditionally used for storing rice wine in northern China.
The raw, heavily textured surface combines muted grey and earthy brown tones with areas of exposed warm terracotta and an almost silver-toned finish around the neck. Fine horizontal ridges run across the body.
A substantial standalone piece for a console, sideboard or pedestal.
