Handcrafted in China’s Jiangsu province around 1900, this antique vessel was originally used to store rice wine.
The deep brown glaze and fine vertical lines give the object a calm, time-shaped presence. Years of use have left the surface dense and balanced, with a distinctive sense of depth.
