These containers were made by the Lozi in Zambia. They are hand carved and have traditionally been used as a lunch box for storing and transporting food.
The lid handles are modeled into highly stylized figures, inspired by animals and the shapes of the surrounding nature.
Dimensions: pig (approx. 35 cm long), duck (approx. 37 cm long), fish (approx. 40 cm long), turtle (approx. 30 cm long)
